The Struggle of a Small Country
Hello my dear and lovely readers!
I am here today to express my frustration about the game, even though I still hold onto hope for a better future.
Lately, trying to bring back old players seems almost impossible. Every time I contact someone and say, Come back bro, we are having fun, their response is always: eDominations? Oh no!
In my opinion, there are several key reasons for this attitude:
- The Dead Media Module:
- Giving rewards for journalism that mean absolutely nothing is killing this part of the game. I dont need to explain more; everyone already knows the issue.
- An Absent Administration:
- When the new administration took over, they made a lot of changes and gave us a wave of hope. But for whatever reason, they have recently stopped being active, and the game has been left on autopilot.
- The Huge Disadvantage for Smaller Communities:
- Every day, new rules appear that favor big countries. As if it isnt hard enough to maintain a small country with a few active players against constant pressure, the game keeps giving more advantages to the massive nations. As a result, almost everyone—except for a few stubborn players—flocks to them.
- Too Much Care for Two-Clickers and Farmers:
- Active players must put in the work, yet the game heavily favors two-clickers. If you only do two clicks a day, you are at a net gain at the expense of active players. When active players start going inactive, the game still prioritizes the stock and gold of the two-clickers. The game practically encourages us to be inactive; with every new change, the admins seem terrified of upsetting inactive players instead of thinking about how to encourage active players to stay online.
- The Store Prices:
- Since barely anyone is buying right now, why are the prices so high? The golden rule of the market is simple: sell cheaper, sell more!
Despite all of this, I am still genuinely hopeful that I can bring my friends back and get them playing again. Why? Because we still have many excellent game mechanics, a very good user interface, and we did see many positive changes in recent months.
The game has massive potential to be lively again—especially right now with the intense heat outside, as people lock themselves indoors with the AC.
Maybe I can still hope that the game will become better for the few of us who still have the will to continue.
Regards,
A hopeful bird,
