The Psychologist on the Battlefield: An Interview with Kamdin

Hello, my dear readers!

Today, I am thrilled to present an interview with a player who is relatively new to the game compared to many of us veterans. Despite that, he has quickly earned a reputation as a fierce fighter and a deeply respected friend and opponent across the entire community.

Lets dive straight into the interview, as we have a lot of fascinating ground to cover!

Q: Who is Kamdin in real life? Please introduce yourself to our readers as much as your privacy allows.

A: My name is Kamdin Parsakia and Im almost 29yo. Im a scientist in behavioral and social sciences, specifically psychology. I live in Iran most of the year but my business is located in Oman and Canada. I have a cat and a dog and I love cars! I have a 1950s American classic cars collection:)

Q: Could you tell us how you originally discovered eDominations, and what traits define your in-game character?

A: I loved these kind of games since I was 10yo. As these genres became unpopular, someone introduced eDom to me and I found it the most suitable game of this kind for me. Nowadays, this is the only game I play.

Q: You originally started your journey in Iran but later moved to Croatia. What were the main reasons behind that decision?

A: I play for my alliance and dont feel any belonging to any country. I feel joy where I can be most impactful as a player for my alliance. So, I always keep the contact with fellows in Iran.

Q: Do you have your sights set on eventually reaching the rank #1 spot in the global leaderboards? How do you think someone can achieve that?

A: I dont aim for it. The level gap is painful. But I aim for top hit and damage rankings:)

Q: You mentioned having a dog and a cat. Tell us a bit more about your love for pets and what they mean to you.

A: I love my pets. They are the only ones who may see me cry, frustrated and every other negative emotion. They are the only ones who are always living with me to death:( I dont believe any human can have these exclusivity for me. Even when I make a family:)

Q: Outside of managing your businesses and logging into eDominations, what do you like to do in your free time?

A: I dont have any free time! I work. My joy comes from my job... This is what I always dreamed about since my childhood. However, I fulfill my very short free time at the end of the night by driving and listening to music. And also playing with my pets.

Q: What is your perspective on Albania, given that they are currently your main target and arch-enemy on the map?

A: They are just opponents to me. I have a friendly connection with them and just enjoy fighting against them in battles. They know how to make the battles exciting.

Q: Lets get an honest take—what do you think of your interviewer, Kaveh?

A: You are extroverted as hell. This can make some people insecure with you and sometimes (honestly, many times) you may drain energy in conversations. But, you have a good heart. I believe in this even the times I really hate what you do.

Q: Looking at the current state of eDominations, what are your biggest regrets and your highest hopes for its future?

A: Mechanically, this game is really the best. The raw game is really good and the admins are interactive. This makes the players feel connected to the game unlike the game you all know xD. But, the playerbase is the dark side. This game is walking on a border within a dead game and a very active game. I hope the baby boom will become real and inject more fun to it. Moreover, the game balance need to be reviewed. Admins should look for a way to make it three-sided which make the game much more exciting.

Q: Do you smoke or drink coffee? If so, how do those habits fit into your intense work schedule and your gaming sessions?

A: I smoke cigarettes and vapes. I was smoking all the time but I restricted myself to just smoking on the balcony xD. I also was drinking 5+ shots of espresso daily but now I drink no coffee since 9 months ago. I feel really fresh now:)

Q: We all know that the past 3 months were an incredibly difficult period for you and many of your countrymen. How do you evaluate the situation looking back at it now?
A: I may write an article about it. Too long to be answered here.

Q: Do you spend much time or money on other video games, or is eDominations your sole focus?

A: I had an addiction to video games till I was 20yo. But, it fades so fast after that and eDom is the only game of any kind I have played since 3 years ago. I even got a PS5 and I find it not interesting! Sold after just one week xD.

Q: During your recent absence, Croatia suffered a defeat at the hands of Albania. Is it time for a counter-offensive? What can you share about your upcoming plans?

A: Im trying to gather up and do my best to help my alliance reach its prime days again. However, activity is more interesting to me than winning non-sense wars. I enjoy losing an enjoyable battle but I feel numb winning a battle that only 10-15 snipers participated.

Q: You are genuinely well-liked by players across both sides of the global conflict. Why do you think youve managed to build such widespread positive connections?

A: I spend time here for a joyful and friendly experience. As I talked about my mindset, I see no enemies here. I see everyone as a friend, some fighting beside me and some against me. I like this community, diverseful while having a great common sense. I like to inject energy to the game which gives me much more fun and energy back:) ppl here are friendly and fighting both against and side-by-side feels good to me. So, If I have a good connection with most players, I think its because of my mindset and my perspective on the concept of this game:)

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Kamdin for his incredible patience and for dedicating his limited free time to answering these questions so thoughtfully.

May the mightiest warriors win on the battlefield!

Regards,

Kaveh
